We have fun raising funds and offering practical support to help our community.

Our Community Committee leads this work and every year we organise or take part in events or help local charities to fundraise for themselves.

Shepperton Village Fair

At  our borough’s largest annual event each June, our ‘Rotary Village’, run with the Aurora Rotary club, offers great games and a children’s ‘Hogwartz’ roller coaster. There’s fun for everyone and we provide stalls free for local charities’ own fundraising.

Coffee Mornings at Shepperton library (in partnership with library management)

Every second Thursday morning, local residents can get out of the house and come along to enjoy friendship, coffee or tea and cake.

Wine Tasting

Give it a swirl at our, annual, fun, wine tasting soiree in Shepperton Village Hall.

Christmas collections with Santa’s sleigh

Santa’s Rotary Sleigh heads around local streets delighting youngsters who can let Father Christmas know what’s on their Christmas list, as local charities collect with us for a share of the proceeds.

Rotary Charity Showcase

Our Charity Showcase at Shepperton Village Hall sees our community meeting and talking with some twenty truly local charities about their work and volunteering opportunities.

This event is regularly supported by the Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Surrey; Spelthorne’s Chief Executive, the Council Leader, local Councillors, the Mayor and our local MP Lincoln Jopp.
